Round 2 Feature Match: Orcadb vs. Tasuke26

Round 2's feature match is pitting Orcadb against Tasuke26. Orca is playing a very facinating deck in today's tournament, a Hieratic Gishki deck. His opponent, Tasuke26, is playing Banisharks. Both deck are types that we normally would not see in today's meta, and it will be interesting to see which one will come out on top.

Orca activated Hieratic Seal of Convocation, searching Hieratic Dragon of Eset from his deck and adding it to his hand. He summoned Eset, and then tributed it to Special Summon Hieratic Dragon of Nebthet. The effect of Eset then activated, and Orca Special Summoned Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord from his deck. He next tributed his Nebthet to Special Summon Hieratic Dragon of Su. and Nebthet's effect summoned another Seal from Orca's deck. He finally Xyz Summoned Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis using his two Seals. He then ended his turn.

Tasuke opened up with Gold Sarcophagus, removing Deep Sea Diva from his deck. He next summoned Airorca, and used its effect, removing itself to destroy Su. He then activated Fish and Kicks, banishing Heliopolis. He set one card to his backrow and ended.

Orca activated Gishki Shadow's effect, discarding it to add Gishki Aquamirror to his hand. He then passed.

Tasuke returned Airorca to his side of the field with its effect. He next activated Fish and Swaps, discarding a card to return Diva and Airorca from his Banished zone to his hand. He then summoned Diva, used the effect to Special Summon Spined Gillman, and Synchro Summoned Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon using his Diva and Gillman. He attacked with both monsters directly, dropping Orca to 3600 life points. He then ended.

Orca Special Summoned Hieratic Dragon of Tefnuit from his hand. He activated Gishki Aquamirror, tributing Tefnuit to Ritual Summon Evigishki Gustkraken. Tefnuit's effect allowed Orca to Special Summon another Seal from his deck. He used Gustkraken's effect, shuffling back Airorca from Tasuke's hand. Gustkraken attacked Gillman, and Orca then ended his turn.

Tasuke summoned Big Jaws, and crashed Big Jaws into Gustkraken, which bumped up Gishilnodon to 3000, allowing Tasuke to attack over Orca's Gustkraken! He then ended.

Orca discarded Gishki Vision to add Gishki Augus to his hand. He next used his effect of his Aquamirror in the Graveyard to add back Gustkraken from his Graveyard to his hand. He activated his second Aquamirror, Ritual Summoning Evigishki Mind Augus. Augus's effect activated, and Orca shuffled back Tefnuit, Nebthet, Convocation, Vision, and Shadow from his Graveyard back to his Deck. He then attacked with Augus into Tasuke's Gishilnodon, destroying it. Orca then passed.

Tasuke set a monster and passed.

Orca tributed his Seal to Special Summon Nebthet. He then attacked with Nebthet into Tasuke's face-down Shark Stickers, destroying it. Augus then made a direct attack and Orca ended.

Orca attacked with Nebthet, destroying Tasuke's face-down Hammer Shark. He then attacked Tasuke directly with Augus, dropping Tasuke down to 1500 life points! He ended his turn.

Tasuke started off by activating Gold Sarcophagus, banishing Dimensional Fissure from his deck. He Normal Summoned Deep Sea Diva, and used its effect to Special Summon Spined Gillman from his deck. He Synchro Summoned Sea Dragon Lord Gishilnodon using his two monsters, set a card to his backrow, and ended.

Orca activated Dark Hole, destroying Gishilnodon. He discarded Gishki Vision, adding Evigishki Gustkraken from his deck to his hand. He Normal Summoned Hieratic Dragon of Eset, and then tributed Eset to Special Summon Hieratic Dragon of Su. Esset's effect allowed Orca to Special Summon Hieratic Seal of the Sun Dragon Overlord from his deck. Orca next activated Gishki Aquamirror, using Su as a tribute to Ritual Summon Gustkraken. Gustkraken's effect activated, which revealed Lost Blue Breaker and Dark Hole; Orca chose Dark Hole to send back to Tasuke's deck. Su's effect activated, Special Summoning another Seal to Orca's field. Orca then Xyz Summoned Hieratic Sun Dragon Overlord of Heliopolis using his two Seals, and Tasuke activated Book of Moon to flip it face-down. Gustkraken made a direct attack, and Orca ended.

Tasuke activated Monster Reborn to revive Gillman from his Graveyard. He next summoned Lost Blue Breaker, and used his two monsters to Xyz Summon Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction. Acid Golem attacked over Gustkraken, and Tasuke passed.

Orca Flip Summoned Heliopolis and used its effect, detaching a Seal to destroy Acid Golem. He then attacked Tasuke directly with Heliopolis, dropping Tasuke down to 2600 life points. Orca ended.

Tasuke got his Dimensional Fissure from his Gold Sarcophagus. He activated it, set a monster, and ended.

Orca used his Aquamirror's effect from the Graveyard, adding back Gustkraken to his hand. He then used Heliopolis's effect to destroy Tasuke's face-down Hammer Shark, and a direct attack from Heliopolis won the game!

Round 1 Feature Match: Hollowblade vs. Daaneskjold

Hollowblade is our current grand champion, playing Inzektor Ninjas in the Team Atlantis Grand Championship. He is playing once again to defend his title as Team Atlantis Grand Champion. His opponent, Daaneskjold, is a more newer member of Team Atlantis, playing Wind-Ups in today's tournament. Let's see which player comes out on top for this round!

Daane started off his turn by summoning Tour Guide from the Underworld, but Hollow responded with Effect Veiler, negating the effect. Daane set one card to his backrow and ended.

Hollow activated Reinforcement of the Army, searching for Ninja Grandmaster Hanzo. He summoned Hanzo, and Daane activated Torrential Tribute, destroying Hanzo and Tour Guide. Hollow searched for Ninjutsu Art of Transformation with Hanzo's effect. He then set three backrow and ended.

Daane summoned Tour Guide, but Hollow activated Fiendish Chain, stopping Tour Guide's effect. Daane set one card to his backrow and passed.

Hollow summoned Karakuri Ninja mdl 339 "Sazank". He attacked over Daane's Tour Guide and passed.

Daane summoned Wind-Up Shark and activated Wind-Up Factory. He next activated Shark's effect to reduce Shark's level to 3, which activated Factory's effect, and Daane searched for Wind-Up Rat. He then attacked Sazank with Shark, and Hollow activated his set Ninjitsu Art of Transformation. Daane responded with Solemn Judgment, but Hollow chained a Solemn Judgment of his own! Daane's Solemn Judgment was negated, and Hollow's Transformation tributed his Sazank to summon Inzektor Hornet. Daane attacked over Hornet with his Shark, and passed.

Hollow summoned Inzektor Dragonfly. He then used Dragonfly's effect and Daane responded with Effect Veiler. Hollow set a spell/trap and ended.

Daane reduced his Shark's level to 3, activating Factory's effect, searching for Wind-Up Rabbit. He next activated Mind Control, taking Dragonfly, and Xyz Summoned Wind-Up Carrier Zenmaity using Dragonfly and Shark. He detached Shark to Special Summon Wind-Up Rat with Zenmaity's effect. He used Rat's effect to Special Summon Shark, reduced Shark's level to 3, and Xyz Summoned another Zenmaity. He used Zenmaity's effect, detaching Shark to Special Summon Rat, and used Rat's effect to revive Shark. He then reduced Shark's level to 3, and Xyz Summoned Wind-Up Zenmaines using Shark and Rat. He attacked Hanzo with Zenmaines, taking 300 damage. In his End Phase, he used Zenmaines's effect to destroy Hanzo.

Hollow activated Pot of Duality, revealing Hevy Storm, Inzektor Dragonfly, and Mystical Space Typhoon. He took Dragonfly and passed.

Daane used Zenmaity's effect, which activated Factory's effect. He searched Shark with Factory and Special Summoned Wind-Up Hunter with Zenmaity's effect. He next activated Shark's effect, revealing it in his hand to Special Summon it. He used Hunter's effect, tributing Zenmaity to discard a card from Hollow's hand. He then used his second Zenmaity's effect to Special Summon Wind-Up Rabbit from his deck. He Normal Summoned Rat, used its effect to revive Shark, and Xyz Summoned Leviair the Sea Dragon using Shark and Rabbit. He then used both Sharks effects to make both of their levels 5, and Xyz Summoned Tiras, Keeper of Genesis using the Sharks. He finally attacked with all of his monsters and Hollow surrendered, unable to stop the attacks.

Daaneskjold's swarm of Wind-Ups let him get a field full of monsters and secure the win! Hollowblade will be going first this next round!

Hollow activated Dark Hole, destroying Jinzo. He then summoned Hanzo, fetching Ninjitsu Art of Transformation from his deck. Daane activated Torrential Tribute, destroying Hanzo. Hollow set a backrow before ending his turn.

Hollow entered his End Phase, and Daane used Dust Tornado on Hollow's last trap, which was Chain Disappearance.

Hollow banished his Upstart Golden Ninja and Hanzo to Special Summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning. Hollow attacked Daane's face-down Wind-Up Magician with his Black Luster Soldier, and used its effect to hit Daane directly! He then ended his turn.

He used Rat's effect to bring back Rat, and Xyz Summoned his third Zenmaity! He used that Zenmaity's effect to bring out his third Rat. He activated the Rat's effect to Special Summon his Rat in the Graveyard, and used his two Rats to Xyz Summon Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction. Hollow activated Dark Hole, clearing Daane's field of his monsters! He then summoned Hanzo, and Daane discarded Veiler to negate Hanzo's effect. Hollow hit directly with Hanzo, dropping Daane to 4200. He then passed.

Daane activated Dark Hole, then activated Monster Reborn, and Hollow immediately conceded. Daaneskjold's Heavy Storm and series of Wind-Up plays allow him to take control of the game and lead him to win this game and the match!

Welcome, all of ATL, to our third annual TAGC! I know everyone has been looking forward to this for quite a while, and the time has now come! This TAGC will have many different things that make it much more improved this time around, so it will definitely be a great experience.

Hollowblade finished the swiss rounds in the TAGC with an undefeated record with his Six Samurai. Facing off against him is drillwarrior, a member that was placed 2nd in standings after the swiss rounds with his Piper Chaos. It's time to see who advances to the finals to play for the title of Grand Champion!

Hollow started off his turn with setting 2 cards to his spell/trap zone, and then ended.

Drill set a backrow and ended.

Hollow set two face-down spells/traps, and activated Shien's Smoke Signal, searching for Kagemusha of the Six Samurai. He next activated Six Samurai United and summoned Legendary Six Samurai - Kageki, and with its effect Special Summoned Kagemusha. He sent United to the Graveyard to draw 2 cards, and activated Mystical Space Typhoon to destroy drill's set Seven Tools of the Bandit. He Synchro Summoned with his Kageki and Kagemusha for Legendary Six Samurai - Shi En. Hollow then activated Double-Edged Sword Technique, reviving his Kageki and Kagemusha, and Synchro Summoning another Shi En! He Special Summoned Grandmaster of the Six Samurai and entered his Battle Phase, attacking Drill directly with it! He summoned Kagemusha of the Six Samurai, and Drill activated Chain Disappearance, removing Hollow's Kagemusha on the field and the two Kagemusha from his deck! Hollow next Special Summoned Grandmaster of the Six Samurai and sent his United to the Graveyard to draw two cards. He set a backrow and removed four counters from his Gateway to search for Legendary Six Samurai - Kizan. Kizan attacked Doomcaliber Knight, but Drill activated Mirror Force, destroying Kizan and Grandmaster. Hollow then ended.

Hollow activated Shien's Smoke Signal, searching for Kageki. He then summoned Kageki and activated its effect, but Drill activated Solemn Warning, negating the effect of Kageki and destroying it. Hollow removed four counters from his Gateway to search for Kizan, and activated Reinforcement of the Army to search for his third Kizan. He Special Summoned both Kizans, and removed four counters from his Gateway to search for Grandmaster. He finally Special Summoned his Grandmaster and hit with all his monsters for the game!

Today's feature match is between orcadb's Simorgh Ladies and doom56muffin's Dragunities. Both members really need to go undefeated the remaining rounds in order to have a chance to be in the Top 4. Let's see how this turns out!

Doom started off his turn by setting a backrow and ending.

Orca summoned Fortune Lady Wind, destroying Doom's set Bottomless Trap Hole. He then activated Future Visions, set a backrow, and ended.

On Doom's draw phase, Orca activated Anti-Spell Fragrance. Doom set a monster, set two cards to his spell/trap zone, and ended.

Orca summoned Fortune Lady Light, which got removed by Visions, which activated Light's effect, targeting Fortune Lady Dark. Doom responded with Solemn Warning, negating the summon and destroying it. Orca then attacked with Wind, destroying Doom's face-down Dragunity Phalanx.

Doom set a face-down spell/trap card, and summoned Dragunity Legionnaire, which got banished by Visions.

Orca got back his Fortune Lady Light from his banished zone. He then set a monster, and attacked Doom directly with his Wind and Light.

Doom got back his Legionnaire from his banished zone. He then activated Icarus Attack, tributing his Legionnaire to destroy Orca's Future Visions and Anti-Spell Fragrance. Lastly, Doom activated Future Fusion, sending five dragons from his deck to the graveyard, targeting Five-Headed Dragon. He then ended.

Orca flip summoned his face-down Delta Flyer and used its effect, increasing the level of Fortune Lady Wind by 1. He then summoned another Flyer, and activated its effect increasing Fortune Lady Light's level. He tuned Light to the Flyer to Synchro Summon Arcanite Magician. He then used Arcanite's effect to destroy Doom's Future Fusion and his set Mystical Space Typhoon. Lastly, Orca removed a Wind and a Dark monster to summon Dark Simorgh, and attacked with all his monsters for the game!

Orca makes an amazing final turn, thanks to his Future Visions being destroyed. Doom will be going first in the next round!

Doom started off his turn with Future Fusion, sending five dragons from his deck to the graveyard, targeting Five-Headed Dragon. Next he activated Dragunity Ravine, and used its effect, discarding Dragunity Phalanx to search for Dragunity Dux. He then summoned Dux, special summoned Phalanx, Synchro Summoned for Dragunity Knight - Vajryana, special summoned Phalanx, and Synchro Summoned Stardust Dragon. He then ended.

Orca used Monster Reborn to get back Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon from Doom's Graveyard. He then attacked Stardust with Red-Eyes. He lastly set three face-down spell/traps, set a monster, and ended.

On Doom's Draw Phase, Orca activated Anti-Spell Fragrance, and Doom chained Mystical Space Typhoon from his hand, destroying Anti-Spell Fragrance! He next activated Ravine's effect, discarding Dragunity Aklys to search for Dragunity Legionnaire. Doom then summoned the Legionnaire, but Orca responded with Solemn Judgment, negating the summon and destroying it. Doom set a card to his backrow, and ended.

Orca activated Future Visions, but Doom chained Solemn Judgement to negate and destroy it. Orca then attacked Doom directly with Red-Eyes, dropping Doom to only 1050 life points! Orca then set a face-down spell/trap, and ended.

Doom got his Five-Headed Dragon for his turn, but Orca activated Ceasefire, inflicting 1500 points of damage for game!
